It very quickly became clear that she just ‘got me’ and had experienced what I was going through, so it didn’t take very long to completely trust her. I initially contacted her because I had been ghosted into a 2 month relationship and was angry and confused about what I had done wrong. I am a lawyer and felt increasingly frustrated that the failures in my personal life were affecting my professional self-confidence. For me, doing this work was incredibly difficult, but I can’t imagine where I would be had I not taken the leap. With each session & homework exercise the red mist cleared a bit more and I became lighter & genuinely happier.  Startlingly, within weeks I was attracting attention from men again after several years of feeling invisible and now I’m in a really great relationship.  I wish I had met Beverley years ago, I would have saved myself a whole lot of pain.

After my relationship ended Beverley was recommended to me by my sister. I wanted to understand why I had failed again and to understand what I was doing wrong and how to change it. I also wanted to be more open, to communicate better, to feel more confident and in control of my life and to be more optimistic about my future.  We talked about my patterns in behaviour, the way I used to relate to my partners, the way I think and feel, my childhood and how it influenced the way I behaved. The first outcome was that I stopped blaming myself for my failed relationships. I realised that I had been in a few abusive relationships and I also understood why. But 8 months later I am in a new relationship with the kindest man and I feel stronger and more in control. For the first time I am an equal in the relationship. I trust and respect myself more and am very optimistic about my future. I know there will be ups and downs but I know that I can handle them.
